Just signed up for HBO MAX through youtube tv. I went to my youtube tv account > subscribtions > “HBO MAX $14.99 [bullet button], entered and agreed to all payment info (7 day free trial).
Then refreshed youtube tv and the following channels were added to my channel list: HBO 2 east, HBO family east, HBO zone east, HBO comedy east, HBO signature east, HBO Latino east, HBO east.
I thought HBO MAX would be a stand alone app, so I downloaded the android HBO MAX on my phone, and it is a stand alone app with its own interface. Does anyone have the stand alone app on youtube tv vs all the HBO channels?
just added HBO MAX, got 7 HBO channels added to the “live guide” thought HBO was a stand alone app.
went to “home” button in youtube tv scrolled down to “Networks” scrolled right to “HBO MAX” opened it and there is the stand alone app.
